Courses by Week

This article shows how your NIMAA courses are organized week by week. Courses open and close at different points in the program, and many run across multiple weeks.

Detailed week-by-week course listings are housed in Populi. Use the document in Populi Files to confirm:

  • Which courses open each week

  • Which courses are ongoing

  • When courses close



Not all courses begin on the first week of a block or end on the last. Many courses roll in and out during a block to align with learning objectives, skills practice, and assessments.

  • Some courses open partway into a block

  • Some courses run for multiple weeks

  • Some courses close before the block ends

  • You may work in several courses at the same time


Courses that Run Throughout Each Block

Seminar
Seminar runs throughout each block and provides structure, check-ins, and program-level guidance.

Core Skills
Core Skills also runs throughout each block and supports hands-on skill development alongside your coursework.

Applied Medical Assisting (AMA) Week
The final week of each block is dedicated to Applied Medical Assisting (AMA). AMA week focuses on applying what you’ve learned through integrated activities and skill practice.
