How can I pay for the program?

At NIMAA, we understand that the cost of education can be an important factor when deciding to pursue your goals. That’s why we strive to keep our tuition as affordable and transparent as possible. To view the most current program cost and payment schedule for each cohort, please visit our Tuition and Fees page.

The following are potential payment options that may be available to help support you in funding your education:

1. Financial Aid

NIMAA offers federal financial aid for eligible students. You can submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at any time to determine your eligibility — you do not need to wait until you are admitted or enrolled.

2. Externship Funding

Some externship organizations offer tuition support to students placed in their clinics, often in exchange for a work commitment after completing the program. During the admissions process, candidates can interview with their preferred externship site and should inquire directly about any tuition support available. Note: Some externship organizations require students to apply for financial aid and/or workforce funding before they can offer tuition support.

3. Workforce Funding

Depending on where you live, you may be eligible for local or state workforce funding programs. To find your local workforce center, search: "[Your County Name] workforce center"

4. Scholarship Opportunities

NIMAA occasionally offers scholarships based on location and availability. Students are also encouraged to apply for third-party scholarships independently.

5. Alternate Payment Plans

NIMAA provides a standard tuition payment plan, outlined on our website. If you're paying out of pocket and need flexibility, you may request an alternate plan by contacting our finance team directly.
