Verifying student externship attendance - Spring 2022 Preceptors Only

Part of your role as a preceptor is to verify that student reported externship attendance is accurate. Every Monday morning, you will be sent an email detailing all student externship hours reported for the current term. Please carefully review this email to validate that the student reported hours match your records for student attendance in the clinic. 

1. If the student reported information is CORRECT, you do not need to do anything.
   
2. If the student reported information is INCORRECT, please email us at instructionalteam@nimaa.edu with the week for which you are reporting a correction (e.g. Week 5) and the correct number of hours and minutes attended. A link to this email will be included in each email you receive to make this easier for you.
   

Additionally, at the end of each term, we will ask you to again validate that the total number of externship attendance hours for the term is correct. 

Please note the following:

1. Student reported hours will be rounded to the nearest quarter hour.
   
2. In some cases, students may be late in reporting their hours. If the student has not reported their hours by the time the email is sent to you on Monday AM, please confirm the hours based on the following week's email.
