How do I add my avatar or picture to my profile in Moodle?

Uploading your avatar or picture to your Moodle profile is highly recommended. This will help familiarize both your classmates and instructor to you, as your picture will appear next to your name on most screens in the system. To upload your avatar or picture to your profile:
  1. Log in to Moodle at https://learn.chc1.com.
  2. Click on the down carat next to your name in the top right corner of the page.


  3. Click Profile in the drop-down menu that displays. The Profile page displays.


  4. In the User details section of the page (on the left), click the Edit profile link. The Edit profile page displays.


  5. Scroll down to the User picture section of your profile.


  6. Drag and drop your avatar or image from your computer to the Files field. Or click in the field, and select the file from your computer.


  7. Then scroll to the bottom and click the Update Profile button. Your picture/avatar now appears next to your name in your profile and in the top right of the screen.
