Who Can Apply?

This program is designed for individuals who are looking to begin their careers in the field. You don’t need prior experience or pre-requisites – the curriculum is tailored to prepare students for entry-level Medical Assistant (MA) positions.

Enrollment Requirements

To be eligible, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Age: You must be at least 18 years old by the time you complete the program.

  2. Education: You must have proof of high school completion or an equivalent.

  3. Language: Strong written and verbal English skills are required as all coursework is in English.

  4. Residency: You must live in a state where NIMAA is authorized to operate.

  5. Background Check: You must pass a background check to enroll.

Externship Requirements 

Please note that some externship organizations may have additional requirements. These will be shared with you during the interview process, so you’ll know what to expect before moving forward.
