How to Submit an Audio Recording
Submitting an audio recording for your assignment or project is a simple process that allows you to showcase your understanding and creativity. This guide provides instructions on how to record, save, and upload your audio files to ensure a smooth submission.
For Phones and Tablets
Using iPhone/iPad (iOS)
Open Voice Memos: Find the Voice Memos app on your home screen and tap to open it.
Record: Tap the red record button to start recording. Hold the phone about 6-12 inches from your mouth and speak clearly into your device.
- Stop Recording: Tap the red square button to stop recording.
- Save Recording: Your recording will automatically be saved. Tap on your recording to view more options.
- Share Recording: Tap the share button (square with an upward arrow) and select "Save to Files".
- Upload to Populi: Navigate to the assignment submission area, and upload your audio file.
Using Android
Open Voice Recorder: Find the Voice Recorder app on your home screen or in your app drawer and tap to open it.
Record: Tap the record button to start recording. Speak clearly into your device holding it about 6-12 inches from your mouth.
- Stop Recording: Tap the stop button to stop recording.
- Save Recording: Your recording will automatically be saved.
- Upload to Populi: Navigate to the assignment submission area, and upload your audio file.
For Computers
Using Windows
Open Voice Recorder: Press the Windows key and type "Voice Recorder" to find the app. Click to open it.
Record: Click the blue record button to start recording. Speak clearly into your microphone or headset from a distance of 6-12 inches from your mouth.
- Stop Recording: Click the blue stop button to stop recording.
- Save Recording: Your recording will automatically be saved in M4A format.
- Upload to Populi: Navigate to the assignment submission area, and upload your audio file.
Using Mac
Open Voice Memos: Find the Voice Memos app in your Applications folder and open it.
Record: Click the red record button to start recording. Speak clearly into your microphone from a distance of 6-12 inches from your .
